Need some help here. Not really the best mechinac barely have any tools but I have made a video of the sound... I can't find what it is I checked the alternator off the belt just to see if the bearings went bad. My next step is to take the valve cover off see if the timing guides are bad

 

Did you check the bearings in the idler pulley yet? Mine went bad and made a nasty sound. $7 for a new one on Rock Auto.

 

How do you go about taking the belt off to check it? I took the tension bolt out all the way still can't get it off

 

Loosen the nut on the front of the pulley to let it slide up and down
