Steel compression 10,000psi coupler
Hi,
I am in Canada and have been trying unsuccessfully to source a McMaster-Carr steel compression 10,000psi coupler to use on a 1997 4runner high pressure power steeling steel feedline. I tried the net, emailed McMaster-Carr (no response yet), local NAPA, no luck so far. Any suggestions, even a US location that will ship to Canada that carries this item. Also, I am unsure as to the correct model number for this part so if anyone knows, please share that information.

Anyone?
Here is the response from McMaster-Carr:
Due to the complexity of U.S. export regulations, McMaster-Carr accepts international orders only from our established customers. This decision also applies to orders shipping within the United States, because it is based on the final destination of the items. We will not provide a quotation or accept your orders.

Here's a thread from ttora.com where someone else mentions it and has a picture of it:

You could try to contact them and see where they got that one.
I would try to find some authorized dealers in the US or Canada that could get one for you if McMaster Carr won't work with you directly.
If you're at a total loss after more searching, I'll take shipment of it here in the US and send it to you, haha.

Looking on McMaster-Carr`s website I sure can`t find a 10,000 psi compression coupling what I see is around 4,500 psi steel for 10mm tube
I wonder was the 10,000 a misprint :jessica::jessica:

Yes I read that as well like I said i looked on line and in my copy of McMaster-Carr`s catalog I could find no compression fittings rated that high anything over 4,000 psi is considered high pressure.
4,650 psi was the highest rated and that was at 72 degrees F
I did see some extreme pressure stainless fittings but no metric tube was listed
I was thinking the poster on the other thread was confused or just was unsure .

5269K293, tube to tube, steel compression coupler.
Here is a link to the item, it appears that they do not make a 10000psi Tube to Tube coupler.
