Well I got my clear corners for a 2nd gen 93-95 from makota auto and they look like they are for a pickup. Are these the ones to use or do I need to ship them back and get different ones?
It looks like they would fit but the front part of the lens that slides in like 2 notches isn't there they have two metal poles that stick out and look like they push into some bushings instead.
So if return them what's the right part # or what do i have to modify to get these to fit?

 

Send them back. The lenses have to match the old ones with the 2 tabs upfront and 2 screws on the side. Also, if you take the amber lightbulbs and spray a light coat of aluminum paint, it will make the bulbs invisible when off and still provide the amber light when turned on.

 

I would return them but they have restocking fee so I wonder if I should just sell them locally.

 

I don't understand I went back to thier web site they said they don't offer them for the 93-95 4 runner's. I know the earlier ones don't work because the way they mount. I have seen 93-95's with clear markers on them so where are they getting them? or are they just modifying them to fit theirs?

They do! Tell them Ben said so. LOL Seriosly I purchased my set of clear corners from Makota two weeks ago. The ad said 89 to 95 p/u & 4runner. I worried being the 95 model has halogen style lighting and I wasnt sure on the mounting. At the bottom of your order form it asks for your additional comments. If I ever worry I put down exactly what I have so if they send me a 350 chevrolet engine and I specificaly requested a 3.0 toyota engine its their ˟˟˟˟ up and their job to get me the right part. Call them, or email them telling them ebay member toyboyofwash purchased the clear corners you want from them and you want the same parts. When I get home I will PM you the part number. Blue
