Hello all, I'm Mike and I'm new here. I've done a search and haven't really found any problems like mine here so I'm asking. I have a 92 pickup with the 22RE, just replaced the fuel pump and filter and repaired the fuel lines as well as checked just about every relay I can jam a multimeter into but I'm still having problems. BTW I've also done a basic tune up, plugs wires distributor cap and button. So heres the problem. If i baby it while I'm driving, it works well. If i give it full throttle to accelerate, it's like the fuel shuts off. Then runs like crap until i let it sit and idle for a minute or two. Without putting a fuel pressure gauge on it (because I don't have access to one at the moment) I do know it has lots of pressure. (Had a small leak from a defective copper washer on the out port of the fuel filter. Ended up with a small gas bath when i cracked it open to repair it.) Any suggestions of where I should be looking next would be greatly appreciated. Oh BTW, I can razz the crap out of the motor parked and can't replicate the problem. It only happens under load.
