Clunking and shaking when applying brakes

Hello.

A few months ago while driving down a recently paved road, there was a loud 'crack' 'pop' 'snap' (noise) from the front passenger side of my vehicle. I thought I hit a large pothole, but as mentioned, the road was recently paved, so no potholes. The very next light, maybe 1/2 a mile down the road, when I applied the brakes, the right side of the car would shake violently. I can only assume these two incidents are related. Even when I stop by using the ebrake I get the same exact shaking and clunking.

I have recently replaced the sway bar links, struts and coils, upper and lower tie rods and ball joints, and both CV axles. These were more just because when looking below I noticed they were all a bit messed up.

I am thinking it is possibly the caliper (?). My old tie rod was bent probably 30 degrees so there was obviously some damage done else where.

Any idea what happened and how I can diagnose the issue before going to a mechanic? Thanks.
