I have an"86" 22RE 4Runner, when I turn the key on without starting it the fuel gauge goes to full after I start the truck the gauge goes to empty regardless of how much fuel is in it. Any ideas or thoughts? Thanks

 

Mine is the Same way. Float inside the tank is most likely stuck at the top. When I went to fix it the screws or bolts (i dont remember) were so rusted that They would just break when you tried to break them loose.
