The 4wd light on my 2001 4runner won't quit flashing whether the 4wd is engaged or not. When the 4wd button is pushed in , it feels like the front diff spins(we just had alot of snow today)in the snow but I thought that when the 4wd is engaged that the "VSC off" light is also on. The center diff lock button won't work. The 4wd light flashes the 4 green lights(wheels) and the red/orange center diff light. Any suggestions? I did a search on the 4runner forum and the same problem from a member there had not been resolved yet.

Update: Working fine now. Just the fact that I haven't used the 4wd in a while must have been the issue. I had to drive it about a half mile down the road then it engaged. Really felt stupid but glad it was no big deal.
