Hello, I'm looking around for a used transmission for my 2002 4x4 v6, i found one with 70k in a 98 tacoma. They are both A340f transmissions but the junkyard says it won't fit. I want the transmission and the transfer case out of it. And info as to if it will fit or if it won't or what not? The 98 is also a 3.4

 

No. You need a 01-02 only. Tundra ones of the same years and later may fit as well.
