i have a 1990 4x4 with a 22re i just bought the truck, and im not gettin any fire, i was told it was a computer issue so i replaced the computer, and still nothin. ive replaced the coil, igniter, distrubutor cap, plugs, wires. i checked the fuel line right beside the fuel rail and there is gas coming out of it. the truck will turn over but wont start up. any ideas?

Will it start with a shot of starting fluid. I know you said it has fuel at the rail, but it could be an injector issue. Just throwing out ideas.

 

i got everything worked out and now i ran into ANOTHER issue. when i change out the timing belt and all of its components, do i need to replace th water pump?
