Cleaning under cowl vent/ windshield wiper arms

Here is what I want to clean out.

I'm just not sure on how to remove it and reinstall it.
From what I can see there are 3 screws and two plastic things on ethier side of it.
Do I just take out the screws and the plastic pins then slowly take it out from underneith the molding around the windshield?
Then any tips on putting it back on.

Yes, the cowl louver slips out from under the moulding and is replaced after the moulding is in place.

Here is a similar bit from the FSM:

Just to make sure I understand this correct.
I don't have to do anything with the moulding, just slip it out and then
slip it back undernieth. Right?

Just a handful of screws and it slides out once you remove the wiper arms.

Yep, comes right out. What I did on mine was to take some heavy duty window screen material and I cut a piece to fit below the grill area then used some adhesive to glue the screen in place under the grill. It has held up for years now and keeps all the big chucks of debris out of there.
