Talking 1991 4runner 3l v6, burning oil... I think

Hey guys, first post, just looking for some input on a problem I have.
I bought a 1991 4runner back in july, it's the 3l v6 5sp manual transmission.
4wd, 4 door model.

Now the problem I'm having is that I'm losing oil very slowly. I'm not noticing any oil leak per say. Which leads me to think that it's burning oil. I only have to put in a quart evey other month. This is probably a stupid question but I'm new to suv's in general, only owned small nissans and hondas.

being new to this I'm sure I'm missing some info that could help, so let me know if you need any extra info

Welcome. It's probably fine. It's normal to use some oil.

mileage on engine, between adding oil, and type of oil used.

you can add engine restore and or lucas oil treatment, worked for my high mileage engines.

yea i had good results with the lucas and engine restore on my 22re when it had over 200 + thousand miles.

i pulled it (running good) at 264k miles, and swapped in a 3.4.

The Lucas oil treatment is at WalMart. Cheapest place I've seen.
