1993 body 1990 3.0 motor

Can I swap the motor for a 1990 3.0 (3vzfe) into a 1993 4 runner body? Please help I am trying to sell a straight bodied 5speed 4x4 to someone with a 1990 3.0 and they are losing confidence.

I've heard it is possible and not only that people do it all the time.

Kind of the reverse but I put a '92 3.0 in my '94 4Runner...

should work.
