BJ spacers diddnt actually lift my truck

hey i had BJ spacers on my 97 t100 3.4 2wd and it diddnt lift my truck at all. i had to crank the t-bars and after that it looked good but i diddnt have enough on my alignment bolt to align it. anybody know of a way to fix any of these problems?

i figured that but what could i have done? it did give me more travel to the upper bump but it had the same ride height. i kept the stock shocks too if that has anything to do with it

how did you measure the height and did you measure exactly the same way before and after? from center of your hub to the bottom of your fender is the proper way. pretty much impossible to add a 1.5" spacer into the setup and not have it reflect on the height after it's installed - unless you changed something else at the same time.

i did measure it and there was 0 change. and no i diddnt change anything else at the same time. all it did was give more travel to the upper bump. almost like something was stopping it from lifting

post some pictures. lol. theres just no way you added them correctly and they didn't lift your truck. Did you lift it and then crank the T-bars down?

you laugh but ive seen sillier things! lol does your suspension still flex in both directions? is there a possibility of something that could be stuck or bound up thats still holding your trk down. its poss that at some point somebody put the wrong shocks in there and were fine at regular hieght but now are just way to short. idk ,just a few ideas that came to me. good luck

if they are to short they would. grab your front bumper and lift , if you cant make the trk move upward you are topped out and something is holding your trk down.could be the shocks or a few other things. disconnect your shocks and repeat the bumper lift if your trk moves upward now then id say its your shocks. hard to tell w/o seeing or knowing the history

if you touched the t-bars then you in-fact DID change other things at the same time. you sure you didn't accidentally lower the front with the t-bars crank?
