i've recently bought an 84 Toyota pickup. rust is always an issue but the bed of this one is waayyyy gone. i was wondering what years would match up with my truck to bolt straight up and what it would take to get another bed to fit if possible. there is one on craigslist right now for 100 thats in good shape that he says is an 89-94 would this work cause thats a very fair price and would like to jump on this quickly if it would work. thank you in advance

I know different body lines, and I believe mounts are a bit different also.

Why not just flatbed it?

 

Ive thought about that and i'm not ruling it out yet i'm just not that big of a fan of the flat bed look. i've seen some cool ones but still not sure......

 

84-88 will match and bolt right up. 89-95 won't match, but will still bolt right up. The bed mounting points are identical for all similar model 84-95 trucks.

you can also use a 2 wheel drive bed the same years 84-88 but the fenders dont stick out as far as the 4wd
