Vibrations in my truck.

I have a 06 toyota tacoma and I noticed that when I get above 20 mph that I start to hear a humming noise and my steering wheel vibrates a little. It goes away when I slightly turn to the right but not to the left. Is it a bad U joint, or should I start looking into something else like a tie rod or worn out bolts?

How many miles are on it and how hard do you drive it. It could be u joints maybe a wheel berring. Lots of possibilitys with out more info. Drive it for about 15 min. and then get out and feel your front hubs. If they are hot to the touch the. I would pull them apart. Crawl under your rig and inspect your u joints. If you have a grease gun hit all your zerts and see
If that solves the problem. That being said I really am new in the scheme of things here. I am sure someone with much more knowledge than me that will help

Based on what you've said, I'm pointing towards wheel bearing/unit bearing.
