Anybody Had Experience w/Duplicolor Engine Paint
I'm getting ready to rebuild a 3VZE ('88 3.0 V6). I don't want to put a lot of money into paint with hardener (two-stage). Anybody know how Duplicolor spray holds up? I'm in the North American rust belt. I want to know if it will protect my block from corrosion for a few years.

Thanks for the feedback. The block will be baked and blasted. Ya think brake cleaner spray would be good for final degreaser/prep?
WW, are you still refurbin' Aisin hubs? One day I'll need a set for my '84 S/A

I don't have a build thread yet. I have thread with a few things I've done to it somewhere. Maybe search my name? I don't know... Lol. If you got questions, I'm happy to answer them.

use a chemical paint stripper on the block first as it will degrease it along with take off the old paint. Get a can of self etch primer, spray that on. Then paint it with whatever you want following the topcoating times on the primer can. Your engine block doesn't get so hot that it takes special paint, use whatever you want!
