I'm looking for a good way to secure a jerry can on my 1995 Pickup. I know I could put it in the bed, but I've got a canopy and I'd generally prefer it to be mounted outside of the bed.

Three places occurred to me:

- I have the dealer added Toyota rear bumper (the black one, not the chrome one).

- I have a tow hitch.

- I have tracks on the canopy with Yakima towers + cross bars - so I could add a cargo basket but a lot of folks dislike the idea of 35+ pounds up on the roof being concentrated in one spot. I tend to agree with them, plus pulling the can off the roof doesn't sound like fun.

Thoughts?
