Well, it's my stock 1998 4Runner SR5 4X4 looks now. I will post pictures as soon as I receive and install the 880 and 906 coils.

I would expect a 1 inch rake, rear 1 inch higher than the front with that combo.

Question 99 4Runner Sport front coils and shocks

Hi,

I found on a junkyard a pair of front thrust (coils with shocks) from a 99 4Runner sport and I want to know if these can lift my 4x4 4Runner 1998.

Thanks,

Thanks, do any of you have Pictures of your 4Runner (preferably 98 SR5 4X4) with 99 tall coils struts in the front and OME 906 in the rear? I am trying to see how it looks. Thanks in advance.

Thanks,
Tacoma has coil springs in the front and leaf springs in the rear.

For more information on lifting your 4Runner:

If I have the budget, I'd go for the Icon Vehicle Dynamics. But the the Sonoran Steel is also very good. It all depends on where you're gonna use your truck, on your budget, and on your ride preferences. But what i'm sure about is that the two are complete systems meant for the N185 4Runner.

Thumbs up

Well, finally the OME 906 arrived last Tuesday, and were mounted yesterday during the evening. See the following picture for the results:
