84 Toyota pickup, shift transfer case into 4 low and it hard to shift out of 4 low Almost feels like its going to break something when trying to shift it out of 4 low. Common problem? Suggestions? Time to tear into t case?

 

My first post.... My truck will bind up to the point it wont come out to. I just put it in reverse and slowly back up while pulling on the shifter and it will unbind letting you shift to high range. Hope this helps.

 

I'll have to try that. I still haven't even got it out of the garage and driving yet. This is just sitting still not running.
