I pulled a UZ out of a 1990 ls400 today, and am getting ready to swap it into my 92', and can't find the oil filter mount off a sc400 to make it fit. I've never used a remote oil filter before, but its someting to consider. Is there any reason not to use a remote mount? Also, does anyone know what kind of resistor is in the EGR delete kit? I think I will just make my own cause $100 seems a bit steep for 3 plates and a resistor. Thanks

Just be careful where you run your remote mount oil lines. No sharp edges and make sure its not somewhere that could get trail damage.

 

The resistor should be at least a 1/4 watt and between 10K - 15K Ohms. I put a 12k 2w flameproof resistor in mine. Shooting for the middle range is best.

 

What application is this engine? I see the intake to the left side.

Looks like the intake manifold is on backwards. The Lexus badge is in the rear.
