Not moving when letting off the brake?

This might be a stupid question but I just bought an 02 4runner with 116K miles. When I first start driving the car and let off the brake from a stop the car doesn't creep forward. After it warms up then it will move forward when letting off the brake. Is this normal? Every automatic car i have owned has moved forward hot and cold.

The car drives perfect tho, trans shifts great and fluid looks good too.

Thanks

sounds like the brakes aren't releasing. It should be looked at.

Leaking rear axle seals are known to bind the rear brakes up when cold. Not sure how cold you're talking about but if the back of your rear tire/brake hub is wet then there you go...
