Kunckle rebulid question

I am using the rebuild kit from trail gear and everything went smooth until i got to the adjusting nut. I TQ them to spec and followed the fsm but when i put the pull scale on to check it, its way above what the fsm calls for. Has anyone ran into this before.

Yep....same thing happened to me when I rebuilt mine with the TG kit. I said screw it and just went with the FSM torque specs and ignored the fact that the pull scale readings were way over what they were "supposed" to be. Been running for over a year now with NO issues.
