93 v6 4runner oil leak

So i was under my truck today and from what i can tell i have a leak or 2 the bottom of my oil pan is oily and i have oil coming from the back of the block onto the tranny and drips to onto the ground. I cant see anything coming from the valve covers but im not sure if its my RMS or oil pan gasket is leaking.

there is fresh oil on the oil drain plug as well but i am not sure where the hell its leaking from and its getting to were i am loosing about a quart every 2 weeks or so..

Anyone have an idea? my clutch is fine it dosnt slip no smells or anything...

Those things leak everywhere. Rear main, valve cover gaskets etc

Purple power. Pressure washer. Recheck after running a few minutes.

I've had this same problem, even after changing the valve cover gaskets. dont mean to hijack, but is there a seal in the cylinder head for the backside of the cams?

There is a camshaft housing plug.

As the Wabbit says, the only way to diagnose a leak is to get that engine so clean you can eat from it. Gravity is not your friend; wherever it is really leaking from, it will look like the rear main seal or the oil pan.

I'm betting Marc A has leaky valve cover gasket, which is not that hard to fix IF YOU FOLLOW THE MANUAL.
