New Tranny + tcase stuck on 4wd

I have an 88 4runner that I swapped the original transmission and transfer case out for a set that a guy told me were from 1993. The thing about this new tcase is that it has an extra little thing attached to the back that my old tcase did not. it has some wires that are just hanging out the back that have nothing to to got and now i cannot disengage 4wd.. I have manual hubs so I've been driving around like that. I fell like the case does not have the regular shift pattern, how do i disengage?
I could get pictures if necessary. Thanks for your help.

88 is a top shift style 93 is a forward shift.

Manual 3.0
The wires are coming out of the tcase

There seems to be a little plug on what probably is vacuum activated.. my old one did not have that.

when i look at mine i just have the speedo cable. out the back and 4wd indicator

try and jack your truck up so the tires are off the ground, and then it my free up. if not probably a bad tcase .. good excuse to go to dual cases

I am not sure if you can miss the shift rail with the shifter on that model, but it could be in the wrong place.
