So I just finished the head gasket replacement and every other gasket and O ring on the way down and up,plus water pump,cap,rotor,plugs,wires and timing belt.Alls good,runs great,except minor exhaust leak I can fix.Problem is the engine light was on before the fix and is still on now.How do I diagnose the problem?I dont have a slot to plug in one of those diagnostic computers.Oh and it was Yotatech that pretty much walked me through any obstacles I encountered along the way during my head gasket repair.Thanx Yotatech subscribers.

 

You don't have one of these?, a DLC, because it's going to tell what code is stored by jumping te1 and e1. Is this the same rig you had the vacuum questions about?

 

I'm in the truck now on my way to work.Missed the whole week last week rebuilding this bad motor scooter.Anyway yeah I do have one of those I was just unsure what it was.And I was a little trepidatious about sticking wires into something I'm unsure about.But I will at lunch break.Feels so good driving my baby again.Especially after the uncertainty of that head gasket replacement.Thanx once again ksti.You guys are a godsend.Hey we should have like a Yotatech party with all our rigs on some trails sometime.How great would that be.

 

Ya, that would be great to meet on the trails, but I would have to meet you on the pavement, as my rig is a 2WD Don't have my off roader anymore.
