Lift kit

Whats the cheapest way to get around4 to 5 inches of lift and has anyone tried to make their own

cheapest? Probably a body lift, what in the world do you want that much lift for?

It's a truck and I wanted a body lift but cant find one but high enough is there anything I could add on to one with cause I don't want to buy expensive as$ suspension lift and also where is the best place to find some cheap ones

This. There is a reason no one makes a 5"tall body lift. Its not safe. And that "expensive expensive as$ suspension lift" is the SAFE and correct way to lift a truck. Got to pay to play...

BL higher than 3" is generally a no go..how far are willing to hack your floor so you can get the shifter to work? Steering column issues? extending the fuel filler neck? droppng the radiator down?
There are probably legal issues with anything bigger than 3" hence why no one makes one more than 3"

OOOR you could do a 3" body and a cheap rough country etc... for like 3oo or so or look on the classifieds ,craigs , or call up lift shops and see if they have any old lift springs someoone took out. thats what I did .and got rancho 4404 's for half the price and fronts for 50.00 and they are in good shape also .
