Ok so i have a rebuilt 3.0 with egr removed, Before i tore it apart the speedo worked fine but after rebuild or engine and tranny and egr removal it no longer works and the rear abs light is always on. any help? i have the FSM

 

make sure you plugged in the rear sensor.

 

There only electric plug thats not plugged in is a grey connector but that goes to the vsv for the ac that i removed. Everything else is plugged in from the rear diff to the transfer case and tranny

There's a whole flow chart for how to diagnose an "always on" warning light. (Generally, a problem in the harness somewhere.)
