31" tires for 1995 pickup

Hi:
I'm looking at buying used 31" tires for my new to me 4x4. They are
31 X 10.50 R15 LT tires on rims. The tires are Dayton Timberline MT. Will these fit on my truck without rubbing? Also would you run these in the winter through snow etc... or are smaller tires better in the winter.

They will fit for sure.

Not the best tread for snow and ice on the roads. I don't see how the size of the tires would make any difference though.

I heard skinner smaller tires cut through the snow better than fat wide tires.

Check them over for dry rot, broken belts, cupping etc. The only thing worse than spending tons of money on expensive new tires is buying used tires in poor condition and having to buy the new tires anyways.

They'll fit fine, my 4runner has 31" tires on 15x8 aftermarket wheels and they don't ever rub even in offroad situations.
