timing chain set??

I am in the middle of doing my timing chain on my 93 p/u and have a few questions. After finding that my drivers side rail and begun to disintegrate (shocker). I went and checked to see if anyone made a steel replacement. I found one at Engnbldr.com out of Portland. They have a full kit with steel rail for $58. It almost seems to good to be true. Is this as awesome a deal as I think it is? Anybody use it and love it?

Also do I have to drop the front diff to pull the oil pan and change the gasket?

Thanks to everyone for the help.

I just replaced the guides in an 89 22re with the kit from engnbldr. Great product and comes with everything you need. For the pan i droped the diff and took out the engine mount bolts and jacked up the engine. It is a PAIN in the A. I had to temporarily install the oil pickup tube an let it swing from side to side so i could get the pan on. Good luck

help

Ok so it has been to long but I finally had time to tear in to my timing chain and found it to be recently replaced. I did notice that it looks like the PO used a screw driver and not a puller to get the crank pulley off. I noticed that the cup (ish) part on the back of the pulley was dented in 3 different places. I took a pic that kinda shows what I am talking about. could this be my oil leak? all help is appreciated.

thanks
