ok so I just picked this truck up ill post some pics later, I just found out that my front leaf springs are shot... sucks so I called my local spring shop and they said it would cost $190 a pair... so i started looking on google and I found a rough country 3" suspension lift kit w/ steering stabilizer for $480 plus shipping... so what I am wondering is if I would have to make any modifications to drivelines, brakes lines, steering, or anything else... and also what size tires should I get my boss has a set of 32x11.5 he said he would sell to me for a couple hundred? so any kind of info would be awesome so would some pictures so I can see what a 3" lift looks like thanks.

 

I have a procomp 3'' lift with extended shackles all the way around on my 85 with no drive shaft mods and I have no drive shaft issues at all with mine . I can also clear 35'' tires with the extended shackles . I have to warm you that they do rub sometimes in the front when im wheeling . But a set of 32s and a 3 inch lift would be a great start . Your steering wheel will be off a little if you dont get the drop steering arm or convert to high steer .Unless your gonna be wheeling it really hard or rock crawling you dont really need high steer .
