trail gear vs RUF

Ive read and viewed lots of threads/pics of both set ups but haven't really seen anything on the benifits of ruf over TG front springs besides the cost of ruf is a little lower. For those of you that have run both which one do you prefer for a DD weekend warrior? Ive got the $ to lift my truck but cant decide. My rig is my DD/wheeler and I want the best ride I can get.

Back to basics, longer sloppier springs = more flex. Never mind the cons if flex is what your going for.

Thanks for the reply and pics. Ruf deffinatly flex really well and I understand why but what my question is how are they compaired to TG springs as far as DD goes? I really like my first gen and want to keep it as a DD. I need to find a perfect medium of off road/on road performance.

Trail Gear

i am pretty happy with my T-G springs 4" up front, 5" rear, to do it over I would have gone 3" f/4' rear but i only paid $45 for my front springs

Your rigs look great and it seems the TG flex really well also. I have read alot that the ruf springs break alot. My rig will be driven to and from the trail so i need to make it as stout as possible. Thanks for all the info

Shouldn't be. When properly set up those are pretty tough a springs. But there are a few variations on building the pack. So I guess there could be some bad eggs.
