maybe i didnt comunicate this well. I have a weber carb with the 2 peice adapter that always leaks. Ive tried everything still develops a leak after a few months. I was looking at offy manifolds made for the webber to bolt directly onto. I also saw a "dual plane" version (seems restrictive to me) does anyone have any experience with this?

I wish someone wiuld have answered.... Im facing a similar problem and you can always tell its leaking again by the decreased idle. Instead of the usual gasoline safe rubber sheet i used a gasoline safe gasket maker. Wish me luck. We shall see in the morning

Cheaper than an aftermarket intake manifold is a better adapter for the carb. LC Engineering has a 2 piece adapter that makes a good seal because it's machined instead of cast. There's also a 1 piece adapter by Trans-Dapt that people have had good luck with. I had problems with the kit pieces sealing, too, but haven't had any since putting on the LC Engineering adapter a little over a year ago.
