fuel pressure regulator 9710

i got this one for free and i have a 32/36 weber that is roughly brand new and since i have had it i have had a rough running vehicle with a missfire only in the mornings or until fully warmed up. people have told me to try a fuel pressure regulator and set it to 2.5 to 3 psi. anyone have any pictures or diagrams of how to install this on my truck? i googled butnone came up for 22r thanks sorry for a repeat question but couldnt find on here either

Is the regulator have 2 ports or 3? Have you checked your fuel pressure? The R22 fuel pump puts out just 5-7psi. The cold idle issue may be caused by to rich fast idle mixture. Not sure about Webber carbs.

Find a generic FPR at Summit, or Jegs. Most every hot rod shop would have an adjustable FPR.

Search a bit harder.....

it has 2. i installed it and i hurd that most fuel pressure regulators arent accurate. but after install my truck runs way cleaner and isnt as rich. still has a slight missfire at cold starts. i need to get a gauge next to check it but if the stock pump is 5-7 psi i turned the gauge to 5 psi and it just has a smooth power band now instead of jumpy. could be my carb needing tuned betteR?
