1990 Toyota 3.0 engnie replacement question.

I have a toyota with low cylinder compressiong (just bought it off some guy for a great deal) it is a nice 12ft stakebed truck with lift gate. I move furniture all the time so this truck is perfect.

I am looking into replacing the motor. It is a 1990 Toyota 3.0 Truck

I can either replace it with a 3.0 motor, 3.4 but I heard that the 22r was the best motor out there. Is this possible? I know that the 22r was only for 84-85-86-87'

I always do heavy loads, what engine would be the best option for what I do?

Please help guys, I dont know too much about Toyotas or these engines other than what I've heard here and there.

Thanks in advance for any help. Need to find a solution asap, im out of work for the mean time.

i would do a 3.4 more then the 22r due to heavy loads and u will have more power with the v6 now if u dont have the money to do the swap then just have the 3.0 rebuilt and go on ur way.
