Just bought my 4runner 1990 v6 auto 4x4 and had the motor rebuilt (blown head gasket), tranny stopped shifting all of the sudden yesterday after running strong for the first couple days then the tranny just crapped out on me with no warning . Only have about 100 miles on the new motor, and never got to drive it before the rebuild. Wont drive in any gear or combination of 4 hi or low. 144k on frame, tranny oil looks good. Found a busted cable but have no clue what it is was hoping you guys could help out.

Any other ideas of what might be causing the shifting problems, maybe a bad solenoid?
