I am in California, San Diego.

My 1996 3.4 V-6 4x4 auto has 315000 miles.
Motor swap was done with pictures on this site with a motor from tundra 3.4

No check engine light has come on but I am failing smog. Three times.

My cat seemed like some loose stuff inside when I had it off six mon ago.

Anyone in SoCal that can sell or provide link for CA legal 96 3.4 single CAT setup?

Umm yeah I did. I even bought one on eBay, luckily the guy double checked before shipping and stated the cat was for a 4 cylinder. I can find weld in ones but bolt in are hard to find.

yeah, i think most people who have their CATs stolen end up having to get a weld-in, universal CAT vs the bolt-in version. significant price difference between the two if you can find the bolt-in version.
