carhartt shift boot
so my wife sews and i had an old pair of carhartts that i was just gonna throw out then it hit me that i needed a shift boot so i thought a carhartt shift boot would be badass so my wife is in the process of making it now i will post pics as soon as its finished anyone else ever try something like this?

the thing is she sews by hand so it takes forever but im thinking if it comes out good which its looking that way its almost done of getting her a sewing machine and she could crank these things out im sure alot of people would br interested in them

i think it came out great im wicked happy about it. as far as cost idk like i said she sews by hand but i gotta get her a sewing machine plus you guys would have to send me some beat up carhartts and the console so we could fit it

lol iwouldnt do that id buy a cheap used one anyway it took like a week to make that one but i bet with a sewing machine it would only take a couple hours

Looks pretty sweet! I might have to retire an old pair for my truck sometime.
If you're getting her a sewing machine specifically for sewing through Carhartt duck canvas - she's probably going to need an HD/industrial sewing machine. Regular sewing machine won't last long with material that thick.
