Question Manual transmission swap

I have a 1995 T100 V6 3400 is there any transmissions that could fit under my truck for a decent price? If so what trany will?

I believe an R150F. That's behind V6 4runners and pickups of the '92-'95 flavor. Then again, since you have the 5VZ, I don't know if the input shaft & bell housing would be the correct dimensions. Wabbit may be able to answer since he has done several 3.4 swaps into older Runners/trucks... Call his name 3 times and wait. He will come around eventually... Or maybe someone else will chime in...

If you haven't already, you might wanna check the T100 section.

I figure if you can put a 3.4 in an older tuck and still run the W56 that might be an option although not a good one seeing as how the T100 is a bigger heavier truck.

I thought you had to run an R tranny behind the 3.4?

T100's came with manual transmission options. Fairly rare. A truck/4Runner transmission may not work, since they are top shift. The T100 is a forward shift case.

3.0 and 3.4 share the exact same bellhousing to block bolt pattern.

After some looking around I think you're right. I guess I thought Advance Adapters made an adapter for the W series but I was wrong.
