New 1 Ton Dually Yota - Interchangabilty of parts?
Hey guys, picked up this beast of yota dually the other day. (it's an '88)

Of course it will need alot of TLC and I am alright with that. Suspension is basically shot in my opinion, so I will def need to throw another set in it.
I am assuming the duallys have a beefer suspension in them but I am not sure, if they have the same as a reg toyota than I can easily just do a swap out.
Anybody know? What about compatibility/interchangeability across the board for parts in these 1 tons?

Anybody know if the suspension in the duallys is upgraded verses a regular yota truck?

nice truck. mines a 87. i put overloads on the rear, it helped with hauling stuff. bought them from autozone. from what little work i have had to do to mine so far, front brakes pads are bigger then normal. only issue i have ran into. rear axle is a full float i believe

Some pics of the suspension - sorry for the poor poor quality
It is so bad my neck and back are damn near broke by the time I am down driving somewhere.
So the questions is what suspension to get with Ranchos or most likely bilsteins...or replace the leafs or both....
This site here has some bilsteins that will work with the dually - what you guys think?

somewhere around the 3000lb mark. nice and smooth. so far so good. they have been on for about a yr or so. ranchos/bilstiens are pretty top of the line. i didnt look into them much. i need to put shocks on and autozone had them in stock so i winged it with them. my bed is kinda heavy and these shocks helped the ride from sagging to bad.
