Hey ToyotaDually, it looks like you have a headache rack on your dually, is that correct?
Thinking about fabing one up...through some pics up of yours if could.
Also, trying to find some undermount tool boxes but everything is so damn spendy...any ideas?

sorry for the delayed reply havent been on the computer for a while. ill get some pics tomorrow. but the main uprights are 2x2 square tube and the frame is angle iron and expanded metal for keeping eveything from flying through the cab. i bought my box from tractor supply company. none are cheap. if you have scrap sheet metal and angle that would be the cheapest and probably fit the best. mine is barely higher then the frame

If you are still looking for info on the dually axle I rebuilt one a few months back, i can tell you this:
diff and ring gear are your standard 4x4 8in with identical third member. my dually axle had the two pinion diff in it diff splines are the same as on a 4x4
The springs are major stiff, they are 1-ton rated that's why. my truck rattles around like nuts too, mainly because i have the axle under my 4x4 pickup. wouldn't trade it for anything though. I would say you could probably save yourself some time and money if you just swapped in new seats. I have MR2 seats in my rig and i don't notice the bumps too much. I'm also running the Gabriel shocks toyodually mentioned

Hey, I've frequented the forum for a few years but officially joined up today. I have a dually and my parking brake snapped. took it to the garage and they couldn't find one to fit. Anyone have a part number or an idea where to look? They tried 4 different cables. Thanks
