Good Deal or no?

Good Deal or no?
I am looking at this 4runner, 1985 283k on body, recent rebuild of engine and trans, 35s. What would be a good price to offer on a vehicle like this? Im in New England, so a truck with this minimal of rust is extrememly rare.
Also, does the rear axle look extremely small to anyone? Maybe the tires dwarf it, but it looks kind of wimpy.

No one would be dumb enough to let that truck go for 2k... it has more than that in tires & suspension alone. 3k if he cant prove the engine/tranny rebuild. 3.5k if he can. thats being generous.

Id get it. I just paid 1700 for an 85 thats not sr5 and all stock. It needed a clutch and exhaust but i knew about the clutch goin in. Mine has 290,000 on it. I found out about my back window that unless the windshield wiper is sucked all the way up on the top itself it will not work. If its on the glass its a no go. Might be an easy fix

Buy it. Now. Before i drive there and buy it before you. Around here you cant find one stock with a blown motor for 2k thats an 84 or 85. let alone running with a lift and tires.
But rust is also myth here as well

I guess it all comes down to how bad someone wants something.
since I really don`t need another Toyota I myself would not pay over $1000.00
I looked at a 4Runner once that was advertised with a new engine it did indeed have a new engine but it was installed 90,000 miles ago.
Not my idea of a new engine.

Really though, if it runs and drives fine, offer like $1200 and go up from there, if he wants a quick sale, maybe he is willing to go real low also.
