Synthetic oils in power train, DYNO

New to the forums here- great site with lots of good info.

I have a dyno in my shop and put my 1998 4Runner on it and did some pulls. The graph below is before and after Amsoil synth gear oils in both diffs, trans and t-case. The oil set me back about $60. Shifting is super smooth. 2-3 hp and tq freed up from pumping losses as well!

Figures are at the wheel.

Do you have a link to your Amsoil store?

Not bad for a low powered car like this, I have seen larger gains on cars with more power. Big fan of AMSoil here.

I bought the Amsoil at a local repair shop that specializes in old foreign cars- so no link to a store per se.

I used the Manual Transmission & Transaxle Gear Lube 75W-90 GL-4 in all locations.

Looks exactly like every other 5vz dyno I have seen.
