Hard to start after fuel filter change...and worse mpg.....
Changed the fuel filter And now it's hard to start after its been sitting longer than 20 minutes. Normally It would crank and fire right up in roughly 1 - 2 seconds now it takes a minimum of 5 solid seconds of cranking .. And now instead of getting 12mpg I'm only getting 8 - 10 mpg!!!!!! Wtf??!?!?!! I'm not leaking any fuel either. Any idea on why this could have happened??? It runs fine once it's started but acts like it looses pressure in the fuel lines... Im going to remove and reinstall in the morning and see if anything changes.

it is possible to have a connection sucking air that does not leak fuel
it does sound like your losing pressure.
Your not leaking any gas at all no gas smell.
which engine are we talking about here??:jessica:
Is this a flared fitting connector or banjo bolts??
