4cyl Rearends 2vrs4

Quick question I built up my 92 2wd 22re and ive been having a good amount of fun but i keep blowing the spider gears out of my rearends ive been through 3 5 lug 2wd 4cyl rearends is there a difference between the 4wd rearends for the 4cyl or do i need jusy to build a better rear end Are the 4wd rear ends stronger than the 2wd

Most of the 2wd rear diffs are the 7.5, the 4wd 4cyl come with the 8 inch rear diff, the V6 and turbo rear diffs are even stronger. Some 2wd had the 8 inch as I have heard.

i can only use a 4cly rearend i dont wanna swap my housing
o ill try a 4wd one this trip

The V6 third member can replace a 4cyl one with no mods done, I am not sure if you can drop either 4x4 diff into the the rear of yours though because the spline counts might be different.
