Hope it isn't a no-no to post a link to Oregon Engine Rebuilders, but it gives the best answers available. It's a stock rebuild. I don't know whether it has metal-backed guides. Perhaps a call to OER would answer than question. With mileage this low, does it matter? I've run the plastic guides up to 140K plus before the chain started to eat the guides. If you can swap an EFI motor, you can swap guides, right?
