1980 pickup with 3.4 swap, ever done?

hey guys i just got off the phone with a guy who said hes selling his 1980 toyota pickup but hes gutted it to doo a 3.4 swap, the only thing that would be a problem i see is the wiring? has anyone done anything in swaping a 3.4 into the place of a 22r? this motor was orginally a 20r but i feel its relativly the same? any input would be great, been lookin for another yota recently but wanted something more challengeing but would i be getting in over my head? im only 17..... any input would be grealy appreaited

There are a couple of guys that have done 1st gen swaps. Search around a bit.

I would think that on that one the physical would be harder than the electrical IMO. If you can handle the physical part, then the electrical should be fairly simple.
