Will a newer model cab fit on a 1986 hilux?
Hey guys I'm getting a Toyota hilux soon and the cab is wrecked and was wondering if a newer model cab would fit on with out any hassles and would you have to change the body mounts

'87-'88 will work. Not sure about '89-'95. Dont think so without moving some things around.

Both gens. use the same frame don't they? Worse comes to worse maybe you would have to fab some new cab mounts...

also i have never been able to under stand the diff gears what gears would i need to run 35s?

The cab mounting points are in the same place on all 84-95 PU frames(2WD & 4WD). Meaning, you can put any cab from those years on any frame from those years.
