My 82 vibrates like its in the spin cycle

My 82 truck has developed a major vibration. It is most noticeable from 40-55 mph. Yesterday I was cruising down the highway at 65mph and the vibration stopped. Scary quiet! I hit the gas just to make sure the engine was still running quiet... Anyway I pressed the clutch and no resistance to the floor. Pressed it again clutch is back and so was the vibration. Drove some more same thing happened one time. Got out to check the clutch and take a peek under the truck. Gear oil was poring out of the trans at the gearbox. Clutch reservoir is full????? Any ideas? Throw out bearing???

What about the noise you talked about?

Jon and I think your clutch is gone/going.

like brian said, sounds like clutch to me...
gear oil pouring out? between the trans and t/c? or mid way up the left side of the trans at the fill hole?
if not you might have cracked the case due to something floating around in there and binding...

I can hear a gear noise. It is very apparent when I am coming to a stop. I can move the shifter to the side and apply a small amount of pressure (while in gear) and slow the gear noise. It makes the same noise in neutral. I have a full clutch pedal. The clutch also has less that 30k miles.

The oil isn't coming from the tease. It starts at or around the mounting face of the gear Bo's and the transmission from up top.

Guess I will tear it apart and start looking. It shifts very clean...???

Gotta love auto correct spelling "tease" = t-case , "Bo's" = box
