Question 854runner front end is loose

85 4RUNNER just did the wheel bearings and am getting moog tie rod ends tomorrow . But I have searched and cannot find specifics to my questions.
So can the birf and knuckle oozing also be a prob, for the front end slop . Also will new balljoints tighten the front end up if the prob is not in the knuckle area? I want the front end as tight as possible . thanks .

?? ball joint?

best way to find what is loose is to jack up the front end and grab the tire and move it side to side and top to bottom. look too see what has play

yeah that is also what I had suspected it is a bit loose side to side .just did the bearings and that helped a bit. Anything on the knuckle affecting the front like looseness. and thanks for the reply ToyoTech559

did you do all the bearings or just the wheel bearings? you also have trunnion bearing that could be worn out. u bolts tight? shackle bolts tight? shackle bushings? steering linkage tight?

front end still loose & wonders

85 Sr5 runner solid Axle:- Yeah so as stated before the front end seems loose and just did the Marlin knuckle rebuild kit with new trunion bearings and it still wonders .
So I have been told the 33's dont help and also that if a alignment shop does some more toe I think , " enough so it doesn't wander and trac this way and that
Does this make any sense ?
Also the marlin kit was supposed to fix this I thought ,I replaced the stock shim and did't add, so to make it tighter you'd have to have none ,but is that to tight ? it seems I read it is.

does your steering wheel have alot of play before the wheel moves? if so your steering box might be loose and iim sure you can tighten those up

Actually it seems tight ToyoTech. I do suppose it may be old leaf bushings since I still have stock .
BUT I read another thread I thought I'de read before and just went out and rotated the fronts and back weels and rolled them, the fronts are wobbled so put the backs on the front and havn't driven it yet to see if that helps. But as far as I can see from bad wear that should explane it.
Thanks for the Input !!!
