My 4.3 swap questions/thoughts
After reading tons of 4.3L swap threads and giving myself a huge headache on information. I've concluded that a 4.3 th350 swap into my next toy project I'll be picking up soon would be ideal, but not without some work. I'm gonna buy a 1990 single cab off someone which is already set up for dual cases and a sas so swapping my parts over will be easy but want more low end and a auto for crawling. Will be running my built mini truck axles
This is be a 99 % off-road only truck running th350 and dual cases. I want it to be simple and reliable
-which year motor would be the least amount of work to swap (cpi, tbi, etc)
- Should I get the AA motor mounts or make mine own for dropping the motor lower
-Will the th350 clear the floor or am I doing a ton of surgery to get a flat belly?
-Planned on going with a Howell harness for simplicity ,any other good stand alone harness's out there?
-Will have ECM programmed by howell or someone else
-Will run no cats egr( got to love TN)
-Which headers?
-Should I try and combine both factory harness's and make all the fancy fun stuff work?

--transmission clearance: just take a look at the size differences with a T350 and a w-56..people make new tunnels when flatbellying toyota transmissions.
motor mounts: do you trust your fab skills? You want it flat bellied (which involves moving the transmission and T/Cs up and than you want to lower the engine) seems like an oxymoron to me
i think you need to take an aspirin and keep researching

Didn't know how different 2nd gen floors were to 3rd gen. I do want the engine low as possible but I want to get a little more clearance than I have right now at t-cases. Planned on cutting but didn't know if it be right around t case area or have to make a new tunnel.
I don't have much fab skills, but one of my buddies own a shop and a bunch can fab. Also have access to a plasma table and a buddy is great on cad
